The 12 Days of Christmas continue with the eponymous leader of the Sinestro Corps. As I originally stated when I started this WIP, I'm going to be trying something a little different with him. Since anyone is open to contribute to Sinestro, I feel everyone should have access to him as he progresses. So expect frequent alphas as I progress... consider it something of an experiment into a different way of thinking about MUGEN WIPs. Anyway, enjoy this VERY early taste of what's to come... like with Elektra, this is Alpha 0.1. Unlike Elektra, though, he's not that far along yet... what you saw in the YouTube video yesterday is pretty much all he's got so far.

You know, I was actually going to ask if I could have a current copy of thw character so I could see about doing some spriting for him: I've tried whipping some stuff up in photoshop for him, but it's tough without the actual character to work from.

Might I assume you'll be wanting me to record some more voice work for him in the near future?

Yeah, that's a pretty safe assumption.

And about spriting some stuff... feel free, man. Larramones is the chief sprite artist on this one, but anyone's free to contribute if they'd like. Larra and I will decide what fits and make any necessary changes to accommodate the palettes, movelists, etc.

Nice progress so far. Although it would be better if for the next releases you wait till you have more anims to add to the upcoming alpha. Anyways, so far so good Buyog and Larra, congratulations

Meh. The point of this is to do updates every time I make significant changes, like an open-source project on SourceForge or what-have-you. If it turns out that's too often, well then at least we'll know based on experience.

Wow, like most people have already said I really did not see this as part of your "12 days..." event. Alpha or not, Sinestro is a wickedly cool character to have. With surprise releases like this and Elektra, I can't imagine what's left and you still have 8 more days. Thanks again Buyog.
