
A little late, and hopefully not too overhyped, today I'm releasing a "release candidate" version of Parasite 2.0. Thanks go to all the ScruffyDragons that have helped me, but especially to my new teammate and partner, Jet the Phoenix, who was responsible for so much of the graphical update in this version. He now sports a full smart palette (with a whole passel of alternates available in the archive), and new, more aggressive stance courtesy of Sei, and a metric TON of new power sets and fixed/improved moves for existing power sets (I think the count is at 49 stolen specials, 29 stolen hypers, with plenty more in development).
Note that not everything is done yet; I'm sure there are still a ton of bug fixes to do, and there are still more missing moves than I would like, but it's certainly a giant leap in the right direction. It's way more than I can even put in the readme file, but make sure you read it anyway to see what characters he supports, and the implementation status on their power sets. Even better, check the powersets.xls file in the folder, it details all the current power sets, and what's done and what's not. (the same information is also on Parasite's page at my blog)
I should mention that this version also includes a useful feature for testing/debugging/versus play: his taunt causes him to randomly get two new power sets, in case the ones you have aren't very useful in the current fight. Not sure if it'll stay in the final 2.0 release, but it makes playing head-to-head with my son a whole lot of fun.
